Melanie Bruno graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in August of 1994. She is licensed by the State of Illinois. 

Melanie is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), a professional organization that upholds the highest standard of ethics and business practices and also requires its members to participate in continuing education. Continuing education is a necessity to keep a massage therapist informed and to broaden their knowledge base. She has training in Anatomy and Physiology; Swedish Massage techniques which are then used for a variety of other techniques including Deep Tissue massage, Trigger Point Therapy; Myofascial Release; Myofascial Decompression Cup Therapy,  Neuromuscular Therapy; Neuromuscular Cup Therapy, Sports massage and On-Site Seated Massage. 

Melanie is also a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and works in a local orthopedic outpatient clinic.
